Video Transcription:

When a person passes away and they have assets in their own name, there’s going to be probate proceedings, and part of that is to protect the rights of creditors. It’s also mailed to reasonably ascertainable creditors, anybody you could figure out by looking through books and records of the decedent, how a creditor might be. They need to get actual notice. From the time they receive that, then they have a limited time to file their claim. Have more questions? Then contact us today to schedule a free consultation!
