Doanne & Doanne

CDC RECOMMENDATIONS

Video Transcription:

Let’s face it, the coronavirus has all of us a little rattled. From public health to investment portfolios, it’s hard to know what to think or do. That’s why Doane and Doane wants to take a few minutes to let you know we are still open, available to our current clients and taking new clients. We are practicing the CDC guidelines of social distancing as well as all of their other guidelines. I’d like to pass along these guidelines from the centers for disease control. No hysteria, no hype, just useful information from the folks who deal with this day in and day out. People in high- risk groups *should take extra precautions: Those include

-Older adults

For everyone else, the focus is on preparation and staying healthy. So the CDC also recommends.

-Stock up on your medications, both prescription and over the counter along with groceries. That way, if there is a community outbreak, forcing you to stay inside for a while, you’ll be prepared.

-Avoid close contact with people who are sick

-Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently

-Avoid high -touch surfaces, things like handrails, elevator buttons, door handles.

-Try not to touch your face nose or eyes.

-Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated areas. Don’t travel, unless you need to, but don’t get on a cruise ship!

Doane and Doane is an estate planning law firm but we are also part of the palm beach county community. Randell and I, along with our staff live and work right alongside you. So the team at Doane and Doane will take the experts advice to- be prepared but don’t panic and we will all get through this, together.
