Can I Make A Handwritten Will If I Do Not Have Much Property?

Video Transcription:

I would not recommend a handwritten will. Most states don’t recognize them at all. A few states allow handwritten wills if there’s just a little bit of property involved. In all, if I were going to hand do a will, whether it’s handwritten or typed, I would make a point of having it qualify as a valid will. Have two witnesses. Although it’s not required, have it notarized. I wouldn’t rely on, if I write it out by hand, it’s going to be okay. Have any more questions? Contact us today to schedule a free consultation!
