Are there alternatives to the formal administration of probate?

Video Transcription:

If unfortunately, your loved one that died did not set up a revocable living trust and did not avoid probate and you have to go through a probate, if the assets are over $75,000, then you’re going to have a full blown formal probate administration. However, if the assets, the total assets in the probate estate are under $75,000, then you’re entitled to do a summary administration, which is an easy one day process. Much less expensive, much less time consuming, and much easier. Additionally, if your decedent has died more than two years ago, you, again, can qualify for a summary one day administration.
